Sessions are thoughtfully tailored to each child’s needs, interests and learning style. Tuition takes place in my home in Knowle, Bristol – offering a supportive alternative to the classroom where children can feel relaxed, motivated and confident.
Through engaging, hands-on activities children develop as confident readers, writers and curious mathematical thinkers while fostering a love of learning through curiosity, exploration, and fun!

1:1 tuition
At Focus and Flourish 1:1 tutoring sessions are designed to make learning fun, engaging, and meaningful. Activities are creative and hands-on, built around your
child’s interests — from stories, nature, art, science experiments, and imaginative play, to horses, football, or gymnastics. Learning becomes real and exciting because
it connects to your child’s own motivations and curiosity.
Working one-to-one means learning can go deeper and move at your child’s own pace. There’s space for exploration, conversation, and playful discovery, with literacy and numeracy woven in where needed, while other areas of learning can emerge naturally — all without the pressure of comparison or rigid timetables. For children who have faced challenges at school, sessions provide a calm, supportive space to
rebuild confidence and rediscover the joy of learning.
